(HELP ?) Circles provide narratives on Training, Explanations, and Hints. These can be related to the overall screen, or to specific items on the screen.



This "Comprehensive" (HELP ?) Circle narrative is for the "PROFILE" Screen in MemberLink. It applies to the "EMAIL REMINDER ABOUT BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES" Checkbox.



In the Configuration for your system, there is an option or parameter to tell the system to send email reports pertaining to upcoming birthdays and anniversaries. The MemberLink MasterAdmin for your church or any of the SysAdmin(s) can update these settings.



The MasterAdmin or SysAdmin(s) can also schedule these reports to be emailed weekly or monthly to certain leaders. These reports will go to the email address of the leaders that the church has selected and the MasterAdmin or SysAdmin(s) have placed into that Configuration parameter.



If this box is checked here on your "PROFILE" Screen, at the appropriate times this person's birthday and anniversary dates will be included in the notification reports. These reports are automatically emailed to the leader(s) the church designated via the Configuration parameter described above.



If this box is not checked here on your "PROFILE" Screen, this person's name will not be included in the upcoming birthdays and anniversaries notification.



** Note: By default, this box is checked for everyone. To remove this person from inclusion in the notification report, uncheck this box.



Note to MasterAdmin or SysAdmin:

You control these notifications with a parameter setting entitled, "Email(s) of persons who receive Birthday/Anniversary notifications". It is found in the Configuration File in the "Step 3 Section".



To turn off the notification process and instruct the system not to email any birthday or anniversary reports to leaders, blank out the Configuration parameter setting entitled, "Email(s) of persons who receive Birthday/Anniversary notifications". If no email addresses are found, the system will not perform this function.
